Tufts Hillel is proud to introduce Shabbat Your Way, a program designed to provide upperclassmen with innovative and meaningful ways to celebrate Shabbat. Check out the descriptions below to find out more about the choices available to you. Don't see anything that interests you? Be our Guest at Friday Night Shabbat Dinner
Every Friday night, Hillel provides reform and conservative services and a delicious Kosher dinner. In a new pilot program Tufts Hillel invites upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) who are not on a meal plan to be our guest at Shabbat Dinner. All you have to do is sign up by Thursday at 3 PM and you will get a complimentary Shabbat dinner at Hillel. For more information about this program email Lauren Estes.

Shabbat-to-Go Kits
Enjoy Shabbat in the comfort of your own apartment as Hillel provides a Free Shabbat Kit to help you organize a fabulous Shabbat experience. Your Shabbat Kits includes candles, grape juice, challah, dessert, a book of songs and prayers for Shabbat, a gift certificate to Shaws, and much more. To reserve your Shabbat kit please email Ethan.Prosnit@tufts.edu the Tuesday before your Friday night dinner with your name and the number of people you expect at your apartment/dorm for Shabbat. Shabbat Kits can be picked up Hillel the Friday morning of your dinner.
Neighborhood Shabbats
Enjoy a fully catered Kosher Shabbat dinner in the comfort of an Upperclassmen or Faculty members home. Be a part of this new program as we organize Shabbat dinners in off-campus homes for friends and neighbors. If you are interested in being a host/hostess for a Neighborhood Shabbats or would like to be a guest at someone’s home for this Neighborhood Shabbat program please contact Lauren Estes fo rmore information.
Saturday Morning at Hillel
Shabbat doesn't end on Friday night! Saturday morning's conservative egalitarian services are a relaxing way to continue your celebration of Shabbat. Everyone is invited to enjoy a free deli lunch after services. Email Zachary.Abramson@tufts.edu for more information about the Saturday morning minyan.
