Tufts Hillel actively seeks to engage uninvolved Jewish students on their own terms to provide them with opportunities to explore, express and celebrate their Jewish identities in ways that are meaningful and appealing to them. We strive to meet students in their own environments and comfort zones by providing a broad range of opportunities that reach them one-on-one, or through programming in their dorms and around campus.
Through
programming and activities, students are encouraged to take
responsibility for their own Jewish identity, whether they
wish to participate in a community service project, express
themselves artistically, participate in a social event, engage
in formal Jewish learning or attend religious services. We
nurture a caring environment for students to grow religiously,
socially and ethically and create a broad understanding of
what it means to be Jewish. Visit our calendar
of events to find out what's happening at Tufts Hillel.
Neubauer Executive Director Rabbi Jeffrey Summit is also available for counseling or for informal conversation. To make an appointment call the Hillel Center at (617) 627-3242 or email Rabbi Summit.
