Traditional Seder  Led by Rabbi Jeffrey Summit, this Seder in both in English and Hebrew, has it all - singing, table-discussions and a rousing rendition of Dayanu complete with scallion whips! Come to this Seder and experience it for yourself (Granoff Family Hillel Center). Purchase tickets online.

Liberal Seder This interactive, student led Seder features creative English readings and progressive interpretations of the Passover Haggadah. Join members of the Reform community and others and relive the Exodus as if you were there (Chase Center- Carmichael Hall). Purchase tickets online.

Social Justice Seder: Raising a Moral Voice On Passover, we are commanded to feel as if we were slaves in Egypt . This interactive, student-led Seder will explore the stories of people who live in slavery and poverty every day. We'll also discuss ways in which we can raise a moral voice on campus and in the world to work for justice. Open to everyone, regardless of religious background. Graduate Students Seder: This home-based Seder brings together students from all the graduate programs in a welcoming, liberal setting.  The evening will be led by students. Sale of Chometz

If it is your custom to ritually dispose of any chometz (i.e., leaven products that are not to be eaten during Passover,) in your possession, you can complete the Sale of Chometz form and fax it to the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts at 617-426-6268 or you may return it to the Hillel Center and we will process it for you. Please contact Rabbi Jeffrey Summit if you have any questions about this process.

Don't just sit there! Be a leader and help make the Hillel Seders rock! We are looking for students to lead discussions and activities to create more personalized and meaningful Seder experiences. Can't get home for Passover but want the same comfort level? If you miss the coziness of a Seder at home and are interested in attending a Seder with a local Jewish family, this is your opportunity. Contact Hillel at 617-627-3242 by April 5 th to make arrangements.

Premium Passover Parcels
Get in gear, Pesach is here! This kit from Hillel helps you to host a Seder in your dorm, apartment or culture house. The Parcels include everything you need to create your own celebration of freedom: 8 haggadot (the story of Passover), instructions on how to lead a seder, matzah, grape juice, a Seder plate complete with ritual items, some ingredients to create your favorite Passover recipes, kosher for Passover candies, and more. Order parcels on-line at www.tuftshillel.org. Orders can be picked up on Monday, April 2, 2007 after 2PM .

Cost: Early Purchase by April 5 th - $15/Parcel, Late Purchase after April 5 th - $17/Parcel

Kosher for Passover Hot Meals in the Dining Halls

Hot meals packaged by a local kosher purveyor are available in microwaveable containers for heating in either Carmichael or Dewick-MacPhie. Varieties include brisket, chicken, turkey, meatballs, and roast beef.  For more information or to sign up for these meals contact please contact the Tufts Dining dietitian, Julie Lampie, R.D. at 617-627-2833 or email Julie. Additional charges may apply.

A cold buffet of kosher for Passover foods is available in both Carmichael and Dewick-MacPhie for all interested students at no additional cost.
