BEYOND BORAT: A Photographic Experience Through Jewish Kazakhstan

Today we worked at the Hesed welfare center cleaning up the library. We dusted books and organized closets in an attempt to make many of the Hesed’s resources more accessible to the community. After cleaning up the library we met with many of the elderly community members who visit the Hesed on a regular basis to eat, socialize, and connect with others in the Jewish community. Working in the Hesed and seeing it in action was truly rewarding.
