BEYOND BORAT: A Photographic Experience Through Jewish Kazakhstan
When it was explained to us that we were hiking, I think most people thought it was going to be a nice, leisurely hike up a beautiful mountain.While there were many gorgeous views, the leisurely part didn’t exactly describe the situation.We hiked Chimbulak, which included hundreds of stairs followed by a long, windy road up the mountain. Many opted out by taking the shuttles up, but for those of us who made it all the way through, it was definitely a worthwhile adventure.
