Program Associate - Birthright Israel Engagement

The Program Associate recruits Tufts students for Birthright and other Israel trips sponsored by Tufts Hillel. S/he plans, implements, and staffs trips in consultation with senior Hillel staff, tour providers and other vendors. The Associate works closely with the approximately 150 current students who have or will participate in one or more of these trips by developing follow-up programs to engage then in Jewish life at Tufts and to provide opportunities for meaningful Jewish experiences. This person will also act as a liaison to Jewish community organizations that work with young adults to assist graduating students in continuing their connection to Jewish life after graduation.

Program Associate - Student Engagement

The Program Associate is one of the key program professionals driving Hillel to have the most strategic vision of Jewish life on campus possible. This includes developing relationships with key student leaders, mentoring student groups, developing leadership curricula and supervising student programming. This position oversees our student board which consists of 15-18 committees along with supervising the executive board of 5. This professional also plays a critical role in Hillel’s strategy for Alternative Breaks. Built into this position are growth and training opportunities.
